She was born in Sofia. Her professional interests are in the field of information systems, multidimensional systems, optimization, real-time. In 1975 she graduated as an electrical engineer (automation) from TU (Technical University) - Sofia. In 2005 she became Doctor of Technical Sciences, Institute of Computer and Communication Systems - BAS 1996; Associate Professor - Institute of Computer and Communication Systems – BAS; PhD at the Institute of Technical Cybernetics, Academy of Sciences, 1980. From 2010 until now, she has been an Associate Professor, DSc. Institute of Information and Communication Technologies – BAS. Throughout 1994 - 2010 she worked as an Associate Professor, DSc. Institute of Computer and Communication Systems – BAS; during 1990 – 1994 she was a researcher, PhD. TSLBA in BAS-1982 - 1990: Research Associate, Dr. TSLSU in BAS-1980 - 1982: Programmer at ITCR BAS-1976 - 1979: PhD student at the Institute of Technical Cybernetics, Academy of Sciences. She is a member of the Union of Automation and Informatics in Sofia, and the Bulgarian Committee of IFAC (International Federation of Automatic Control."
