The "Seven Books" includes studies and articles that present, with documented density, the place of medieval Bulgaria in the European family of nations. An introduction to this topic is the study devoted to the place of Bulgaria and the Bulgarians in the history of medieval Europe (7th-15th centuries). It attempts to reveal some of the Bulgarian achievements and contributions of that time, not so much in military-political and ecclesiastical-religious terms, but rather in literary and cultural terms.
