Krassimir Atanassov
Krassimir  AtanassovKrassimir Atanasov studies at the Faculty of Mathematics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”and defended his doctoral dissertation in 1986. He became a doctor of technical sciences in 2000. Since 1998 is a professor at the Center for Biomedical Engineering at BAS. He is the editor-in-chief of 4 international magazines and is a member of the editorial boards of 11 others. His research interests are in the field of fuzzy sets (he introduces the subject "intuitionistic fuzzy sets" and explores its basic properties and some of its applications in expert systems, systems theories, decision making, drugs, etc.). He has about 500 articles in journals , 300 press conference reports and 28 books.
