Tamara Stoilova is a doctor of historical sciences, professor at the Institute for Historical Research of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He is a specialist in the history of the Russian Empire, studying its imperial foreign policy and the complex political and diplomatic relations that St. Petersburg has with France, the Ottoman Empire, the Commonwealth and other countries on the political map of Europe in the eighteenth century.

Prof. Stefan Doinov graduated from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" in 1964. with a degree in history. In 1968 won a competition for a full-time graduate student at the Institute of History at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and later defended a dissertation in the field of Revival political history.
