• Rosica Rangelova

Rositsa Rangelova is a Doctor of Economics, Professor at the Institute for Economic Research at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, International Economics Section. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Economics "K. Marx ”- Sofia (now UNWE), specialty“ Statistics ”. She specialized in methodology of international macroeconomic comparisons at the State University of Illinois - USA (1989), and the University of Groningen - the Netherlands (1994). She is a visiting scientist in Bristol - Great Britain (1993), and on the problems of measuring economic growth he works in Dublin - Ireland (1997), and Budapest - Hungary (2001). She is the author of several books, dozens of studies and articles in Bulgarian and English. Participates in international projects as a coordinator for Bulgaria under the PHARE program, programs of the European Commission and others. It occupies one of the first few places in the RePEc system of Bulgarian authors - economists, the most read in the world. Since 1994 she has been teaching the discipline "International Economic Comparisons" she created in bachelor's programs at the University of National and World Economy, and later in master's programs at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Veliko Tarnovo "St.St. Cyril and Methodius University, as well as the course "International Comparative Analysis" at NBU - Sofia.
