Българистика / Bulgarica is a periodical of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It includes: selected bibliography in the field of Bulgarian Studies (books and periodicals), reports of scientific conferences, seminars, etc., defended PhD theses, surveys of the current state of Bulgarian Studies over the world, anniversaries of prominent foreign scholars specialists in Bulgarian Studies, new books reviews, etc. The edition serves as a liaision between the Bulgarian scientific institutions, on the one hand, and foreign scholars of Bulgarian Studies, on the other. Българистика / Bulgarica is published twice a year and distributed by the Prof. Marin Drinov Publishing House of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, by the Central Library of BAS — Book Exchange Department, and foreign universities, institutes and libraries can acquire it by subscription.
