Summary
The collection "New Foreign Bulgaristics" was developed and published within the framework of the National Scientific Program "Development and Promotion of Bulgarian Studies Abroad" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bulgaria. The program, the implementation of which began in 2022, is aimed at supporting research conducted outside Bulgaria on the Bulgarian language and literature, Bulgarian history, art and culture (including ethnography and folklore). Its main goal is to build an attractive image of our country by strengthening the interest of foreign scholars in Bulgarian studies as a promising research field with rich traditions.
The collection includes publications by prominent Bulgarian scholars representing various scientific centers in Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Germany and Hungary, and outlines the broad scope of their scientific interests.
The articles included in the collection present various aspects of contemporary Bulgarian studies. The work will be useful for all those interested in the Bulgarian language and literature, Bulgarian history, art and culture.
