The present second volume is a continuation of the first, in which the history of Macedonia was presented in all past periods up to the mid-twentieth century: starting with the Ancient History, passing through the Middle Ages and the National Revival period, and reaching the end of the Modern and the beginning of the Contemporary History, to the decades of creative activity of the Bulgarian Exarchate and the national liberation struggles of Macedonian Bulgarians.
