Evgeni Golovinski graduated in chemistry at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”. He specializes in the Pasteur Institute in Paris and in the universities of Münster and Essen in Germany. Works in the field of bioorganic chemistry and pharmacobiochemistry. Its main contributions are the creation of new methods for the synthesis of important groups of organic compounds, mainly biologically active substances and the elucidation of the biochemical mechanisms of action of drugs. Develops several new original preparative methods for the preparation of purine analogues, such as triazolo-, tetrazolo- andpyrazolouracils starting from amidrazones. The pharmacological effect of a large number of these compounds has also been studied. These contributions are included in world-famous manuals, reference books and encyclopediaISBN: 954-430-158-5
