Summary

The monograph is an attempt to examine the origins, status, and trends in the development of corporate culture in Bulgaria in a relatively new, unorthodox way, enriching traditional approaches to market entities. The application of an interdisciplinary approach involves a multi-layered focus on various current issues. On the one hand, the analysis of the links between national value specifics and organizational practices confirms the applicability of studies in the field of economic/business anthropology in identifying corporate culture in Bulgaria. On the other hand, defining it as collective programming of the mind and distinguishing its core, imposed in the relevant economic structures, highlights the link between the formation of corporate culture and the construction of the identity of the individual unit. It turned out that when forming a strategy for managing economic structures, the concept of corporate culture is a condition of paramount importance. This statement has been verified and applies mainly to small and medium-sized enterprises, which largely determine the profile of our modern economy.
