Summary
The construction of the homes of technology is an extremely important chain of events in the history of the Scientific and Technical Unions (STU) in Bulgaria. This is an almost untouched topic for many reasons. The first is its underestimation as an insignificant, irrelevant, and uninteresting topic for many researchers. The second reason is the assessment of its irrelevance in the new era. The third reason boils down to the lack of sufficient written information about the construction of the material base of the STU. But there is another reason, which is that this task is very laborious and too complex to be covered in one or several studies.
The presentation for the individual districts is divided into two parts, the first part dealing with the construction of the houses of technology in the district center, and the second part providing information on the construction of houses of technology in larger cities and the provision of premises for local technology clubs.
