Diana Blagoeva graduated in Slavic Philology at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". She defended her dissertation in the field of verb valence in Bulgarian and Polish. She works as a research associate at the Institute of Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She deals with problems in the field of lexicology, lexicography, comparative linguistics. She is a co-author of the multivolume "Dictionary of the Bulgarian language", of the "Dictionary of new words and meanings in the Bulgarian language", of the first electronic synonymous dictionary of the Bulgarian language. She has scientific publications in various publications in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Latvia.
