The book proposes a specific methodology and guidelines for writing lesson units that bring together good practices and resources (textbooks, toolkits, videos, digital lessons, etc.) to support teachers of philosophy and civic education. It aims at formulating proposals for improving the teaching and learning of philosophy and social sciences, by developing the key competencies of students and preparing practical resources for teachers and students. To implement this goal, research tasks covering a wide range of activities are planned, and, above all, a unification of different approaches to civic education from the fields of philosophy, sociology, ecology, psychology, aesthetics, etc., and tying into a broad concept that meets the challenges of the modern world and is tailored to the characteristics of today’s young people.
