Summary
The collection is a collective attempt to understand and discuss the “first wave” of the COVID-19 pandemic and its diverse reflections in various spheres of social and cultural life from the perspective of the humanities and social sciences. 14 authors with diverse interests and interdisciplinary specialization in the fields of ethnology, folklore, social and cultural anthropology, psychology, theology and Christian philosophy, musicology, media studies, etc. participate. Their articles offer multidirectional and mutually complementary perspectives on the topic and thus outline a more general picture of the first months of the pandemic crisis in the Bulgarian context with its specificities, challenges and consequences.
