The scientific compendium “Sustainability of Human Resources for a Competitive Economy” comprises articles and studies published in two volumes, based on papers presented at the Thematic Scientific Conference held on May 19, 2025, at the Economic Research Institute at the BAS. The event was jointly organized by the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA), the Economic Research Institute at the BAS, and Institute for Sustainable Economic Development (ISED) within the framework of project BG05SFPR002-1.005-0004 “ Comprehensive approach for providing motivated and qualified human resources: Rating and instruments for promoting key professions’ attractiveness and their practical implementation and multiplication
as to secure balanced provision of qualified staff and continuous lifelong learning;
limiting and preventing undeclared work and supporting enterprises and workers for
successful twin transition”, co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
