Grammatical Dictionary: Inflectional Types in the Bulgarian Literary Language is a systematic description of the grammatical properties of Bulgarian lexemes according to the presently valid literary norms.
The Dictionary is based on the Official Orthographic Dictionary and its digitized version (https://beron.mon.bg) and encompasses over 90,000 lexemes. The grammatical description of each lexeme is grounded in its morphological and syntactic features, with strict adherence to the literary norms.
The Dictionary’s principal advantage lies in presenting lexemes within a grammatical framework: they are hierarchically organized into classes, subclasses, macrotypes, and inflectional types according to specific classificatory criteria (distinguishing features) applied in a rigorous sequence. This organization aims to systematize and enrich our understanding of the language’s structural nature.
