The collection "Common European Defense and Security and Bulgaria’s Place in It" contains 14 studies and articles written primarily by researchers at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, though it also features contributions from faculty members at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski," UNWE, and UniBIT, including a former representative of Bulgaria to NATO (Vice Admiral E.
