The monograph "Emergency Urology" fills a serious gap in our medical reality. It is the result of the experience and knowledge of leading urologists, nephrologists, anesthesiologists-intensivists, obstetricians-gynecologists, and other specialists, accumulated over the last 30 years and in line with global trends in this field. A significant part is also devoted to urological conditions that are not only a direct cause for emergency measures, but may, under certain circumstances, predispose to such measures.
