The multi-volume academic Bulgarian-Polish Comparative Grammar is conceived as a theoretical semantic grammar with equally weighted Bulgarian and Polish material. Research related to semantic Bulgarian-Polish comparative grammar shows that the description from meaning to form stands up to scrutiny and provides a relatively complete picture of the individual semantic categories. The entire Bulgarian-Polish Comparative Grammar actually comprises 12 volumes, with Volume VII planned in two parts. This Grammar will not only be the world's first attempt to compare two languages with a constantly evolving intermediary language, but also the most detailed work in this field.
