Reconstruction, i.e. the restoration of the head from the skull, is an objective scientific method, which is based on mathematically established relationships between the thickness of the soft tissues of the head and the features of the bone structure of the skull. This method makes it possible to visualize people who inhabited our lands in antiquity, to present the physical types of the main ethnic groups that participated in the formation of the Bulgarian nation and the Bulgarian state. The results of the application of the method of restoring the head from the skull are valuable both for the humanities (history, archeology, ethnography), biological and medical sciences (anthropology, general biology, anatomy, radiology, dentistry, facial plastic surgery, forensic medicine), and for fine arts and museum work.
