In the second part of the second volume of the documentary collection "The Allied Control Commission in Bulgaria (November 1944 - December 1947) documents have been published reflecting the implementation of the terms of the armistice, documents on the changes imposed by the Armistice Agreement in the Bulgarian Armed Forces after the cessation of hostilities against Germany (reports of Soviet and Bulgarian military leaders, reports of the Military Department of the SCC, etc.), documents on the establishment of control and censorship by the Soviet (Allied) High Command over the publication, import and distribution in Bulgaria of periodical and non-periodical literature, radio broadcasting in the country, the work of radio stations, post, telegraph and telephone, over the repertoire of theaters and the screening of films. Materials related to the work of the Commissariat for the Implementation of the Armistice Agreement on the detention and disarmament of the remaining members of the German armed forces in Bulgaria and their transfer as prisoners of war to the Soviet command in Bulgaria, and also for the release of all Allied prisoners of war and internees and their repatriation to their homeland, as well as documents on the actions of the Commission for the Return of Property of the United Nations and its Citizens in Bulgaria, for the search and transfer to the Soviet command as trophies of property of Germany and its satellite Hungary. The position of Bulgaria and the USSR on the transfer of this property to the ownership of the Soviet Union is presented. Documents are also included that shed light on the frequently discussed among the Bulgarian public issue of the material provision of the Soviet military units located in Bulgaria from September 1944 to December 15, 1947 and the maintenance of the SKK. Documents testifying to the position of the Soviet government delegation during the preparation and holding of the Paris Peace Conference have also been published.
