Summary

Аbout The Author

Dimitar Pushkarov
Dimitar PushkarovProf. Dimitar Pushkarov graduated in physics at Moscow State University, M. V. Lomonosov ”. He did his dissertation (1969) and his doctoral dissertation (1972) under the supervision of Acad. IM Lifshitz. In 1985 he defended his dissertation and received the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences at JINR - Dubna (Russia). He recognized the creation of a new scientific direction - a quasi-partial approach in the quantum theory of defects and soliton waves in deformable solids, partially included in this monograph. In the opinion of MI Kaganov, Pushkarov introduced order in an entire section of the theory of solids, and according to the world-famous academician LP Pitaevski, there is every reason to believe that this theory will soon be considered classical. Prof. Pushkarov is among the creators of the theory of quantum crystals and quantum diffusion, his name is carried out by temperature dependences and a new type of nanoclusters. Introduces a new model equation in nonlinear optics, predicts magnetic solitons in the Heisenberg model. He is the author of the quantum theory of crowds. His works have been cited more than 950 times. He has worked mainly at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, where he has been leading the field of condensed matter theory for 30 years, as well as in foreign and Bulgarian universities and research organizations. He has won prestigious scientific awards, is an honorary member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, is a member of international and scientific organizations and editorial boards, has twice been Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education.
