Prof. Nikolay Vitanov is a specialist in the theory of turbulence, nonlinear dynamics of complex systems, population dynamics, mathematical economics and mathematical social dynamics. He has a doctorate in physics, a doctorate in natural sciences (Germany) and a doctorate in mathematics. He is the author of over 100 articles on dynamics and analysis of processes in complex systems. He is the author and co-author of books on the variational theory of turbulence, population dynamics and national security, social dynamics and the evolution of scientific systems.
