Andon Radev Kosev is the director of the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the head of the Excitable Structures Section. He has specialized in Germany as a fellow of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. His main interests are in the field of motor physiology, clinical neurophysiology and biophysics of volumetric potentials (electromyography). He is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Society of Physiological Sciences, a corresponding member of the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology.
