Alexander Alexandrov holds a doctorate in biophysics and works as a biophysicist in the Excitable Structures Section of the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ”. Co-author of the textbook Endocrinology (2000) and the monograph Multiple Sclerosis (2009). His research interests are in the field of mathematical modeling in medicine, biophysics, biology, chronobiology, clinical neurophysiology and neuroendocrinology. He is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria, the Union of Mathematicians in Bulgaria, the International Organization of Chronobiology.
