Pelin  PelinovPencho Linov known as Pelin Pelinov is a Bulgarian writer and playwright. He studied in a male high school in Pleven and in 1954 he graduated with honors. In 1959 he graduated from The Law Faculty of Sofia University and in 1965 -from VITIZ "Theatre". He worked as legal adviser and theatre specialist at the Culture Committee. For 12 years he was a playwright at the National Theatre "Ivan Vazov". He is one of the founders of the Theatre "Tears and Laughter." Pelin Pelinov is the author of the novels and historical documentary "In the ashes" (1997), "Independent Bulgaria" (2002), "Next to the knife!" (2005), "Collapsed "(2007), as well as of the tetralogy "The Rise and Fall". Parts of the novel "Independent Bulgaria" (2006) are based on the eponymous story film directed by Ognian Surdolov. He has written 30 plays, including "Hot Summer", "Ivaylo night or short knives," "Heroically sign ". He is also the author of the television series "Liberation," "Unity", "Stamboliiski process."
