The "Glossary-Index" includes all words and their forms found in the Izbornik of 1073. The text on folios 122g 9–14 (Note by Bishop Dionysius) and on folios 127c,d (Homily by Gregory the Theologian), as is well known, is of later origin; therefore, the word forms from these folios are listed separately. All numerical designations are also presented separately. Proper names and their derivatives are arranged in the dictionary entries in alphabetical order. Furthermore, for greater convenience in using the dictionary, proper names of non-Slavic origin are listed separately, with their Greek equivalents indicated alongside the Slavic forms, which are not listed elsewhere. Specialists interested in the relationship between the Slavic and Greek texts will be able to consult the third volume of the edition, which presents the Greek sources of the collection.
