Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyubomir Durmishev was born on December 1, 1966 in Sofia. He graduated medicine at the Higher Medical Institute - Sofia in 1992. He specializes in Sofia, Dresden, Berlin, Jena and Munich. Since 2013 he has been an associate professor at the Department of Dermatology and Venereology at the Medical Faculty - Sofia and is the head of the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at the University Hospital "Alexandrovska". He is a member of EADV, BSID, ECTODerm, IMACS, honorary member of Sigma Xi, New Jersey, USA. He is a member of the editorial board of ISRN Dermatology. He is the author of 109 scientific papers, 44 of which are in English, co-author of 2 monographs and 14 collections and textbooks. He has participated with 118 reports and presentations in national and international congresses, symposia and conferences.
