The history of the Eastern Question, the complex contradictions between the great powers contained therein, the national liberation movements associated with the collapse and legacy of the Ottoman Empire between the end of the 18th century and the First World War, "form part of our national history." In our historiography there is no more complete study and description of this period of our history. This work is based on a large number of the most important documents and real historical facts characterizing that time. There is reason to claim that this is the true and accurate reading of a particularly important and close to our time, previous part of the history of our people. Therefore, this book today provides the justification and is a real barrier against attempts to politically rewrite our history.
